Job Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced and data-driven Senior SEO Executive to join our growing digital marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive SEO strategies that drive organic growth, improve keyword rankings, generate leads and increase website visibility across search engines. Key Responsibilities 

1. On-Page Optimization 

  • Conduct comprehensive website audits and identify improvement opportunities. 

  • Optimize web pages, blogs, and landing pages for targeted keywords and search intent. 

  • Ensure proper implementation of meta tags, header tags, schema markup, alt text, and internal linking. 

  • Collaborate with content writers to create SEO-friendly content aligned with keyword strategy. 

  • Improve site structure, crawlability, and user experience to enhance rankings. 

  • Monitor Core Web Vitals, site speed, and mobile responsiveness. 

  • Regularly track ranking performance and optimize accordingly. 

2. Off-Page Optimization 

  • Develop and execute link-building strategies (guest posts, outreach, PR backlinks). 

  • Identify and build relationships with relevant websites, influencers, and publishers. 

  • Manage link profile health and perform backlink audits to remove toxic links. 

  • Implement effective off-page strategies to increase domain authority and brand visibility. 

  • Monitor competitors’ backlink strategies and identify new opportunities. 

3. Technical SEO 

  • Work with the development team to fix crawling, indexing, and technical issues. 

  • Monitor XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, and redirects. 

  • Optimize website architecture for better indexing and ranking performance. 

  • Conduct regular technical audits and ensure SEO best practices are followed across the site. 

4. Keyword Strategy & Analytics 

  • Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify short-tail and long-tail opportunities. 

  • Map keywords to content and pages strategically. 

  • Track keyword performance and analyze trends using analytics tools. 

  • Generate detailed SEO performance reports (traffic, ranking, conversion metrics). 

5. Team Management 

  • Lead, guide, and mentor junior and mid-level SEO executives. 

  • Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely deliverables. 

  • Conduct training sessions to upskill team members on SEO tools and trends. 

  • Coordinate with the content, design, and development teams to implement SEO plans. 

  • Review team reports and provide actionable feedback for improvement. 

6. Reporting & Strategy 

  • Present monthly performance and progress reports to management. 

  • Suggest and implement data-driven strategies for continuous improvement. 

  • Stay updated on Google algorithm changes, SEO tools, and emerging digital marketing trends. 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): 

  • Growth in organic website traffic. 

  • Improvement in keyword rankings (Top 10 / Top 3). 

  • Increase in domain authority and organic conversions. 

  • Timely completion of audits and optimization tasks. 

  • Team performance and delivery quality. 

 

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, IT, Communications, or related field. 

  • 4–7 years of proven experience in SEO (agency or in-house). 

  • Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO. 

  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Moz, etc. 

  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Magento).
